7th Pay Calculator after Cabinet Approval on 29th June 2016

The current Government of India's Cabinet Committee had approved the 7th Pay Commission's recommendation on 29th June, 2016.  Even though the Cabinet has more or less accepted the recommendations of the A. K. Mathur led panel, there are these following influences which did not find acceptance in the final report.  Apart from this 7th Central Pay Commission's recommendation on CGEGIS has not been accepted by the Cabinet and the existing rate will continue for all the central employees.  The decision yet to be pending for existing allowances and will be taken by another committee.  The report is expected after 4 months. In 7th Pay Commission average basis salary hikes by 23.5 to 26.5% from 01.01.2016.

Note: This 7th Pay Commission Calculator calculates New DA from July 2016 as 3% (CPI from July 2015 to April 2016 indicates 6% or 7% increase in DA from July 2016 for pre-revised pay and 2% or  3% from July 2016 after implementation of 7th Pay Commission)
