Before this extension the last date for filing of Declaration under VsV scheme was 28th Feb. But Income Tax Department extends deadline for filing of Declarations under VsV Scheme.
On Friday the Income Tax Department extended last date for filing of declaration till 31st March including making of payment under Direct Tax Dispute Resolution Scheme i.e. Vivad Se Vishvas (VsV). The Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) further extends deadline to filing of declaration under this Act to 31st March 2021 with payment up-to 30th March 2021.
The Income Tax Department Tweeted as "CBDT further extends the date for filing of declarations under the #VivadSeVishwas Act, 2020 to 31st March, 2021. Date for payment without additional amount under VsV extended to 30th April, 2021".
