Dearness Allowance rates are to be announced half yearly basis and applicable from first of January and July. According to a press release issued by the Labour Bureau, Ministry of Labour & Employment the All-India CPI-IW for November, 2013 rose by 2 points and pegged at 243(two hundred and forty three). On 1-month percentage change, it increased by 0.83 per cent between October and Novembert compared with 0.46 per cent between the same two months a year ago.
On the basis of November-2013 Index Value and if the estimated (CPI-IW) Index value is as it is for the month of December-2013 i.e. 243 or Increased 1 Point means 244 or 2 Points means 245 then what will be the Dearness Allowance of January-2014.
From the above it is very much clear that if CPI-IW for December-2013 Notified at 243, 244 or 245 in that condition the Dearness allowance Rate for January , 2014 will be expected 100 percent it means 10% increase Dearnedd Allowance from January-2014
On the basis of November-2013 Index Value and if the estimated (CPI-IW) Index value is as it is for the month of December-2013 i.e. 243 or Increased 1 Point means 244 or 2 Points means 245 then what will be the Dearness Allowance of January-2014.
From the above it is very much clear that if CPI-IW for December-2013 Notified at 243, 244 or 245 in that condition the Dearness allowance Rate for January , 2014 will be expected 100 percent it means 10% increase Dearnedd Allowance from January-2014
