As per the new rule of Income Tax Department for issuing TDS Certificate for Fin. Year 2011-12 (Form No. 16 / Form No. 16A) to deductee within 15 days of due date of Filing or e-Filing of TDS Return. It is moral responsiblity of Deductor to Issue TDS Certificate within time to their Deductee (Employee or Other Than Salary Tax Payee). Regarding this keep in mind that the every year TDS Certificate Formate has been changed therefore before issuing TDS Certificate (Form No. 16 or Form No. 16A) deductor should be check First New Correct or Applicable Form 16/16A from Income Tax Department Webside regarding Fin. Year.

- For first quarter (Apr-June) of Assessment Year 2012-2013, you need to issue certificates by 30-July-2011.
- For Second Quarter you need to issue certificates by 30- OCT-2011.
- For third quarter you need to issue certificates by 30-JAN-2012
- For fourth quarter you need to issue certificates by 30-May-2012.
In case of Salary you need to issue consolidated TDS certificate (Form 16) for the year Financial Year 2011-12 by 31th May 2012.
