Notification regarding VAT reduction in Tax Rates of Diesel & Kerosene

NOTIFICATION

MAHARASHTRA VALUE ADDED TAX ACT, 2002.

No.VAT-1511/CR-86/Taxation-l — In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 9 of the Maharashtra Value Added Tax Act, 2002 (Mah. IX of 2005), the Government of Maharashtra hereby amends, Schedules C and D appended to the said Act, with effect from 00.00 hours of the 8 th July 2011, as follows, namely:—

In the Maharashtra Value Added Tax Act, 2002,—

(I) In Schedule C, in entry 58, in sub-entry (a), in column (3), for the figure “5 ” the figure “3 ” shall be substituted.

(II) In Schedule D in entry 5,—

(i) in clause (a), -

(a) in sub-clause (i), in column (3), for the figures “26″ the figures “24″ shall be substituted;

(b) in sub-clause (ii), in column (3), for the figures ” 26 ” the figures ” 24 ” shall be substituted;

(ii) in clause (b), in column (3), for the figures “23″ the figures ” 21 ” shall be substituted.
