Important conditions of H.R.A. (House Rent Allowance) to Teaching & Non-Teaching Staff:

As per circular No. INS 1071-G dated 24th April, 1971, under para No. 3 of the Government Resolution, Education & Social Welfare Department No. INS 1069-G dated 30.08.1969, all teaching and non-teaching staff in Non-Government Secondary Schools and Junior College of Education and Academic Teaching and Non-Teaching Staff in the Non-Government Technical High School in the state are held eligible for H.R.A. only at places which this allowance is payable to Government servants in accordance with the orders in force and at same rates at which this allowance is admissible to Government servants from time to time in the corresponding pay scales and on the same conditions on which this allowance is admissible to Government servants. Drawl of H.R.A. by Government servants is regulated in accordance with the rules contained in Appendix XVII to the B.C.S.R. (Vol.1) and order issued from time to time. It has been represented to Government that order "regarding grant of H.R.A. to the Secondary School Employees are not being properly implemented by the management of some of the Secondary Schools in the State Government is therefore, pleased to issue accompanying clarifications for some of the important conditions for drawl of H.R.A.
