As per new amendment Service Tax Department has been implement Education and Higher Education Cess as per Income Tax Department in Service Tax w.e.f 01.07.2012. Thus the Service Tax Department also collect extra revenue as Education and Higher Education Cess from the Financial year 2012-13. But in this new rules there is no changes in Education Cess and Higher Education Cess which will attract the service tax as previous years. Finance ministery issued finance act which cleared all the aspects of Service Tax.
