Friends, the Competition Act, 2002 of section 44A had amended and implemented w.e.f. 1st June, 2011 as per The Central Government announcement as per following notification.

SO.___ In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of section 1 of the Competiotion Act, 2002 (12 of 2003), the Central Government hereby appoints the 1st day of June, 2011 as the date on which section 44 of the said Act (inserted by section 37 of the Competition (Amendment) Act, 2007 (39 of 2007) shall come into force.
