LATEST 6TH PAY D.A. RATES IN MAHARASHTRA

The Maharashtra State Government implemented 6th Pay Commission from 1st Jan. 2006 as per Central Government Pay Commission with small changes. The Maharashtra State Government/Semi Government Employee/None-Government Employee enjoying the salary of 6th Pay from Jun-2009 which is paid in July-2009 as per Published Notification through Finance Department No. RPS 1209/CR-27/SER-9 dated 22nd April 2009. The Hakim Committee submitted their report to Maharashtra State Government and according to this report Maharashtra State Government were passed a Resolution of 6th pay as well as the Government was implemented 6th Pay. Now, as per Notification of Maharashtra State Government declared HRA & CA Rates and hence “Soft Corner” make Revised New Perfect Calculations for 6th Pay of Maharashtra Government.

Terms & Conditions of the service of the Non-Teaching employees of the Non-Agricultural Universities in the Maharashtra State

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 77-A of each of the University Act of 1974, that is to say, The Bombay University Act, 1974 (Mah. XXII of 1974), the Poona University Act, 1974 (Mah. XIIi of 1974), the Shivaji University Act, 1974 (Mah. XXIV of 1974), the Marathwada University Act, 1974, (Mah XXV of 1974), the Nagpur University Act, 1974 (Mah. XXVI of 1974), the Shreemati Nathibai Damodar Thackersey Women's University Act, 1974 (Mah XXVII of 1974), the Section 86 of the Amravati University Act, 1983 (Mah. XXXVII of 1983), the Government of Maharashtra hereby makes the rules prescribing the Standard Code providing for the terms and conditions of the service of the Non-Teaching employees of the Non-Agricultural Universities in the Maharashtra State (including its officers) and of those of the affiliated colleges and recognised institutions other than those managed and maintained by the State Government and Local Autorities.

Appointment of Susbtantive Employee Terms & Conditions

The following terms & conditions applied during Substantive Appointment:

1. A person shall be appointed on probation only against a substantive vacancy and on completing his probation period satisfactorily, he shall be confirmed in the service of the University or the College by an order of Competent Authority.

2. When the employee is given substantive appointment, the post to which he is so appointed shall be permanent vacant post on which no other employee holds a lien. He shall acquire a lien on the basis on which he is confirmed. The Competent Authority may appoint the employee in a provisionally substantive capacity to a post on which other employee holds a suspended lien.

3. Provisional substantive appointment of the employee in a post shall cease to be operative as soon as the other employee who holds a suspended lien of that post reverts to the post.

4. The Competent Authority may suspend lien of the employee who is on deputation to foreign service, if there is a reason to believe that he will remain away from the post on which he holds a lien, for a period of not less than five years. The lien shall not, however, be suspended if the employee on deputation to foreign service is deemed to retire within a period of three years from the date of his deputation.


5. In case the employee on deputation fails to revert back to the original post in the University or College after three years, then he shall automatically loose claim on his substantive appointment, unless otherwise directed.


6. Suspension of lien may be sanctioned with retrospective effect from the date, the employee is absent from the post on deputation to foreign service. In such case, provisional substantive appointment to another employee may be given from the retrospective date. Employee's lien on a post, which has been suspended in accordance with clause (4) above shall revive as soon as he reverts to his post.


7. The lien of the employee on any post shall not be terminated under any circumstances. The lien shall cease to be operative when he ceases to be in the Service of the University/College, by virtue of his retirement, resignation, discharge, dismissal, acquiring a lien in a higher post, or absorption in foreign service.


8. The employee who is given provisional substantive appointment to a post, shall be given a fully substantive appointment, and shall acquire a lien when the suspended lien of another employee on that post ceases to be operative in accordance with the preceding provision.


9. Subject to the provisions of these rules whenever any employee is rendered surplus in the cadre for the reasons such as the reduction in the strength of cadre, return of the senior employee from higher cadre to the lower cadre, or for joining of the employee by selection in the cadre etc., the junior most officiating employee shall be reverted to the lower cadre.


10. Subject to the provisions of these rules, the employee either confirmed or officiating may be reverted to the post in the lower cadre, as a measure of punishment provided, he holds such a post in the lower cadre under the University or the same Management.

Apply for Data Entry Operator on Contract Basis Rs. 6000/- P.M. under "Midday Meal Scheme"

The Central Government aided-"Midday Meal" scheme has been implemented in the State. This scheme has been expanded as per Government resolution issued on 08th Aug. 2008 upto to 6th to 8th Standard. As per the order issued by Hon'ble Supreme Court, the students are given boiled food. The scheme has been started supported by the Central Government since 1995-96. From that particular time, the entire work procedure is conducted on Director of Education level including a Statistics Officer, A Clerk and Steno. The total number of employees only three. In view of the extended work of this scheme a new post of "Data Entry Operator" has been recommended as Contract Basis for proper implementation of this scheme. As per the Present Requirement following decision has been taken by Government.

Through this Central Government aided Scheme of "Midday Meal" total 397 posts of "Data Entry Operator" on contract basis are sanctioned as per the Government Resolution.

New Professional Tax Slab in Maharashtra

The Professional Tax in Maharashtra is as under:

Up to Rs. 2500 - nil,

Exceeds Rs. 2500 but less than Rs. 3500 - Rs 60 per month (nil after 1/07/2009),

Exceeds Rs. 3500 but less than Rs. 5000 - Rs 120 per month (nil after 1/07/2009),

Exceeds Rs. 5000 but less than Rs. 10000 - Rs 175 per month,

Exceeds Rs. 10000 - Rs 2500 per annum. It must be paid at Rs. 200 per month except for the month of February it is Rs. 300.

I am very glad to inform you that the Maharashtra State Government had implemented 6th Pay Commission but working process is very slow due to heavy workload of Office & Maharashtra Government. The State Government Employee start process of Pay fixation but on the contrary Educational Department have no any more action on it. The State Government pass the resolution for the processing of Pay Fixation i.e. date of Option Form.

Re-Employment Pensioners Pension plan in Revised Pay Scale

The Maharashtra Civil Serves (Revised Pay) Rules-2009 are not applicable to Government Servant who retired on or before 31st December 2005 and who were re-employment on that day including those whose period of re-employment extended after the date vide Rule 2 (ii) (g) thereof.
